Why puzzle play
More than a puzzle.
Piece by piece, little hands are building more than a picture.Puzzle play gives children opportunities to practice important skills while they're having fun, exploring, and figuring things out.
As a mom, that mattered to me.
When I was looking for a puzzle for my daughter, I wasn't just looking for something pretty to put under the tree. I wanted something she would genuinely enjoy playing with — something that could challenge her, help her practice important skills, and grow with her as she learned.
I knew that puzzles could offer opportunities for problem-solving, focus, spatial thinking, and fine-motor practice.
But I also wanted her to see herself in the picture.

Little hands. Big discoveries.
And then there was something I couldn't find.
I wanted the magic, the play, the developmental value — and a picture where my daughter could see herself.
✦ The puzzle that started it all
Our story
It all started with one little mermaid.
When my daughter was four, I started looking for a puzzle for her for Christmas.
I wanted something she would love playing with — something beautiful, imaginative, and developmentally meaningful.
But I also wanted her to see herself in the picture.
I searched and searched, and I couldn't find the magical representation I was looking for.
So I made one myself.
That little mermaid puzzle became something much bigger than I expected. My daughter played with it again and again. As she grew, I watched her become more confident putting the pieces together, returning to it, and finding joy in the world we had created for her.
And now, years later, she's still part of the creative process.
What started with one little mermaid is becoming a whole world of imagination, adventure, and possibility — created so more children can see themselves as the heroes of their own stories.
Mother + daughter
Made with her.
Inspired by her.
This isn't just a brand I'm building for children. It's a world I'm building with my daughter.
She tells me which characters excite her, which designs she loves, and what makes her want to play. What makes her excited is helping us imagine what could make another child excited, too.
